As you may know, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission recently released various vacancies for the post of Clerk, Gram Sachiv, Patwari, Canal Patwari etc in various departments under the Haryana Government. The online application process is still going on and the candidates must be looking forward to appearing for the exams in the upcoming months. HSSC 2019: Exam Pattern 

HSSC 2019 Exam Pattern for Clerk, Patwari, Gram Sachiv and Canal Patwari consists of the same pattern with a written exam of 90 marks and Socio-Economic criteria and experience of 10 marks. Below is a table that shows the distribution of marks as per the official notification for HSSC Recruitment 2019.

In HSSC 2019 written exam, out of 90 marks, the distribution for weightage of marks according to the subject wise topics is given in the below table:

HSSC Syllabus 2019

The written exam syllabus of the HSSC recuitment will include all the above-mentioned subjects. You will need to cover the general awareness and current affairs of Haryana as well which covers 25% of the weight out of the total marks. The topic-wise details of the HSSC 2019 syllabus are as given below. It may be noted that the concerned or relevant subject, as applicable according to the recruitment notification may be asked in the exam apart from the ones given below.

HSSC Syllabus: General Awareness

  • Static General Knowledge of India which includes all the important dams, ports, airports, temples, dances, national parks, national sanctuaries, books, authors, the culture of states, etc
  • History of India including Ancient, Medieval and Modern History. Cover all the important dates, year, battles, events, etc
  • Geography: special focus on the Indian Geography including the rivers, lakes, mountain peaks, etc
  • Economics with special focus on the Indian economy and recent related news
  • Indian Polity with all the important articles & amendments, laws, rights, etc
  • Current Affairs with all the important schemes, sports news, portfolios, appointments, etc

HSSC Syllabus: Science

  • Basic 10th Level Science with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology including all the important topics. You can also study from the GS Capsule provided by us.
